An Intimate Wedding

white wedding cake, trees, blossoms

In east Nashville, a cute couple decided they wanted to share their wedding vows with close family and friends. So, they didn’t need a huge cake but decided they wanted a cake for them and cupcakes for everyone else.

Bronwyn and Jeff’s Wedding Cake

We traveled all the way to Murfreesboro, TN to delivery this wedding cake. It started out as a rainy morning but it turned out to be a beautiful day for a beautiful wedding. It took place in a tiny little chapel and the reception under a picturesque gazebo. Their cake was all carrot cake with cream cheese frosting per the groom’s request.

The Carson’s Wedding Cake

Our friends recently got married and I was lucky enough to make their wedding cake. The entire cake was chocolate chip with raspberries and vanilla buttercream filling. I got to show off my sugar flower skills by creating the same flowers that were in the bridal party’s bouquets as the decorations for the cake. They even let me make them four different kinds of cookies to go along with it. We packed everything up and headed to Nashville to deliver the goodies and enjoyed a fantastic wedding!

Our Wedding Cake

We had five of tiers of deliciousness! Starting with chocolate cake with peanut butter buttercream and chocolate ganache, red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting, white chocolate cake with white chocolate ganache and raspberry buttercream, vanilla cake with bavarian cream filling, and finally spice cake with caramel buttercream and pralines. Besides a huge cake, we had three different types of brownies, cupcakes, and cheesecakes, and four different kinds of cookies.
